SHADOW OF DIVINE PERFECTION

it wasn't until recently that I discovered what creativity is actually supposed to mean. I found that creativity is an inspiration from the Holy Spirit -- that art is beautiful when it reflects the Creator. we are made in the image of God; therefore, we ourselves reflect Him. The work of our hands is beautiful, all because of the work of His hands. 

this project is these truths made tangible. Michelangelo once said, "the true work of art is but a shadow of the divine perfection." Emphasizing that art is supposed to reflect the divine, also known as God, I based my entire project around this quote. Using light and shadows as a metaphor, I explored what it looks like to reflect our Creator. not only can art reflect the divine, but we ourselves do as humans.
